Real cameras. Real rigs. Real automotive production. This is the equipment we use to bring Wrenched Syndicate from the garage to the screen.

Wrenched Syndicate is built around hands-on automotive storytelling, and our production capabilities have grown alongside the channel. Every piece of equipment earns its place, supporting everything from detailed garage work and mobile filming to additional camera angles and cinematic vehicle coverage. Our custom-built rigs provide nearly 15 hours of shooting time before battery packs need replacing or recharging, helping us stay focused on the work and capture the moments that matter.

Our commitment to Canon grew from experience. The reliability of our first Canon camera gave us the confidence to build around the platform, choosing cameras with the functionality and dependability our shoots demand.

As our setup evolved, we donated our Nikon equipment to a young, aspiring photographer, giving him the tools to develop his photography and filmmaking skills. Equipment that helped us grow is now helping someone else get started.

Canon EOS R6

The Canon EOS R6 anchors Wrenched Syndicate’s long-form automotive production, combining a full-frame sensor with 4K UHD recording at up to 60 fps and Full HD at up to 120 fps for slow-motion detail. Built around Canon RF optics, our dedicated SmallRig setup integrates external monitoring, on-camera and wireless audio, wireless control, and V-mount power for extended filming sessions. From hands-on repairs to cinematic vehicle footage, this purpose-built rig reflects our investment in capturing every build, setback, and reveal with clarity, consistency, and attention to detail.

Canon EOS R50

The Canon EOS R50 brings compact versatility to Wrenched Syndicate’s automotive production, pairing a 24.2-megapixel APS-C sensor with detailed 4K UHD recording at up to 30 fps, oversampled from 6K, and Full HD at up to 120 fps for slow-motion coverage. Equipped with Canon RF-S optics, dedicated rigging, on-camera and wireless audio, wireless control, and V-mount power, it supports mobile filming, close-quarter garage work, and alternate perspectives alongside our EOS R6. Its smaller footprint gives us more freedom to position the camera where the story unfolds, capturing the details and supporting angles that bring each project together.

Canon XA60

The Canon XA60 is where Wrenched Syndicate's dedicated camera production began. It was the first dedicated camera used to film Wrenched Syndicate content and helped establish the production workflow that has since grown to include our EOS R50 and EOS R6 systems.

Clear audio matters just as much as the image. Wrenched Syndicate uses a combination of RØDE and DJI audio equipment depending on the production environment, from controlled garage filming to mobile and on-location automotive shoots.

Wireless dialogue and presenter audio when mobility and separation from the camera are required.
